Project management and consulting
We provide consulting and comprehensive project management within the scope of biobanking activities. Our seasoned experts will consult with you on the feasibility of your biomedical studies, and help you with administrative processes, the approval by ethics committees, logistics, process settings, drawing up protocols, and other activities related to your research project.
The recruitment process
We recruit participants in cooperation with MEDIREX GROUP, the leading Slovak laboratory operator. The recruitment of participants and sample management will be performed directly in our cooperating clinics or outpatient clinics, and we will subsequently take care of sample transportation, all the while guaranteeing the highest quality standards in accordance with your specific needs.
Sample analysis
Primary processing and analysis of samples in the defined fields of study are performed by MEDIREX GROUP laboratories, proceeding in compliance with the accredited ISO15189:2012 standard.
We provide a wide range of analyses in the following scientific disciplines:
- biochemistry,
- hematology,
- genetics,
- immunology,
- cytology,
- histology.
Storage of samples
Our in-house MEDIXBANK infrastructure is equipped for long-term sample storage in compliance with the ISO20387:2018 standard. Using state-of-the-art technology and standardized operating protocols, we ensure sample storage in optimal conditions while maintaining the highest quality.
Experimental analyses
As part of the MEDIREX GROUP ACADEMY n. o., a dedicated scientific research organization, MEDIXBANK performs experimental analyses in the following fields of study:
- genomics,
- metabolomics,
- proteomics.
We perfom the entire process reaching as far as data output.
Dispensing of samples and data
Our internal resources enable the provision of specific samples and the corresponding data. We specialize primarily in the following groups of diseases:
